Biology/Health Science Club
Purpose: To stimulate sound scholarship; encourage investigation in the life and medical sciences; promote dissmeination of scientific truth; encourate participation in group activities; broden the scope of classroom education; assist in the collection of specimens and maintenance of the LSUS Life Science Museum; and conserve the environment.

Biomedical Informatics Club (BIC)
Bring together Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Math students with the Medical field, to solve complex life science problems.

Alpha Epsilon Delta
Alpha Epsilon Delta is a national pre-Health Sciences honor society with a focus on community service.

Computer Science
Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)
AITP is a national association comprised of career minded individuals who seek to expand their potential -- employers, employees, programmers, and many others. The organization seeks to provide avenues for all of their members to be teachers as well as students and to make contacts with other members in the IT field, all in an effort to become more marketable in rapidly changing, technological careers.

Open Source and Standards Advocates (OSSA)
OSSA will strive to provide an opportunity for participants to obtain involvement in current computing standards and open source software (i.e. Linux, Free BSD), as well as promoting their usage. It also exists as a forum to discuss various issues surrounding both concepts, including practicality, politics, et cetera.
